Vocal Dynamics

Much has already been written throughout this website on the use of vocal dynamics such as our anological markings page, and memory associations. Of primary importance within the induction of hypnosis is the hypnotist remembering his own use of specific vocal changes, in order to bring about the same memories when required.

All memories are based upon association to the five senses operating as our representational systems, and the experience of each during the associated memory. That is, we see, feel, hear, smell, and taste almost always at the same time. If we notice the scent of a rose, we might in turn experience the visual memory of a rose. If we add the sound of a song that might have been playing when we at one time smelled that scent of a rose, another memory will reveal itself. An example of how this type of link, or anchor can be shown as such; A highly pitched tone of voice used in the creation of a memory will only invoke that memory if spoken in that same high pitched tone, and will be much clearer, if accompanied by any other associated part of the persons senses experienced at the time.
